This is the first piece of art I've done since I lost Gary, and I am so happy with it. When I think of doing this in a Little Fat Book Club meeting, I didn't "think" about putting it together at all.
It just happened and then I looked at it and was so happy. It's been quite awhile since I have felt that. I know that getting back to the art will help to heal my heart and soul and so I hope this is the first of many new posts of "happy" art.
Thanks for all the wonderful well wishes. 2010 will be a good year.
You should be really proud of your lfb page it is beautiful!! I didn't get to see it as you were doing it because I was creating down at the end of the table and I was actually creating which is an amazing concept when I go to the club meetings. I guess I'm getting used to creating with a group of people. Again Peggy it is beautiful!! I too feel that art heals. It has help me alot in the last couple years and I hope that it helps you in your time of need you truly are a wonderful and strong woman and I am proud to know you!
ReplyDeleteIt was so good to see you at LFB and even better to see you creating again, and creating such beautiful things at that! You are so very talented. I can't wait for next Saturday!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful piece. You are amazing Peggy. I think your loving memory of Gary is just bursting from your heart to your fingertips.
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely, Peggy! and Happy. :-) I participated in a Fat Book swap last year and had a ball. We each created 10 pieces around ten different topics and then shared them all so we all now have 100 different pieces! You can find my 10 in my "challenges and swaps" category or probably just by searching "fat book" on my blog.
ReplyDeleteIt is gorgeous. I love the colors and the softness. I'm glad you are creating and healing from your loss. Love, Wyanne
