My trip was postponed due to an infection that came up very suddenly in my foot and I was unable to walk on it. This, in turn gave me the opportunity to finish this Nimbus Sweater I have been working on for quite some time. It is a present to my daughter for her upcoming birthday on the 20th. I am still leaving for the beach tomorrow but wanted to post this since it will be gone later today and I wouldn't have had the opportunity to post it. And so, now I can start a new project, a baby girl sweater in lavender. Can't wait to get started. Hope you are all enjoying your weekend. If you click on the photo you can see the stitch details which do not quite show up in this photo.

  1. Love the sweater! Beautifully made, cool design...your daughter is a lucky birthday girl! I can just see this with jeans and a warm spring trurleneck, great for the beach/country or city.

Have a great trip, take pictures for us!

  2. This sweater is gorgeous Peggy; love the stitching! Amazing to me! I was almost gonna call you; was worried about your going to NC with the severe weather. Be safe if you decide to go! xxoo

  3. Wow! This is gorgeous! I love the color and the little details. I can't believe you made it! So impressive! I hope you have a great trip!

  4. Peggy this sweater for you daughter is lovely.... lucky girl!
Enjoy your time away at the beach...hope your infection is all cleared up.

    Jacky xo

  5. Beautiful work, Peggy. I wish I had your talent. Hope you are having a great time.
